Our older cat is on medication for hyperthyroidism and gets diarrhea from the medication. Plantaeris took a few days to work and I had to increase the dose to 1 1/2 times the starting dose, but now it works great. It's a relief that her diarrhea is finally gone.

I am very impressed, I saw a difference in a little over 24 hours. This really does work, but I am very disappointed at the price. Hard for us to justify, but I tried it solely on the reviews as nothing else was working.
I think more would buy if you reduced the price along w/ all your other prices. Many of us animal lovers would do anything for our babies, but the economy right now is really forcing many to make tough decisions, this is a perfect example of why people are dumping their cats & dogs, they cannot afford them. I bought this for my 12 year old cat who was suffering from chronic diarrhea, but it didn't work to help cure her. It may work for other cats but not mine probably because she is on thyroid meds too and a side effect of the meds she is on is bowl disorders.

Used to treat cats chronic diarrhea. Within a week it eased the gastric pain and within 3 weeks she now has normal stool again. It was the best Christmas present I could have received as she battles anemia on a daily basis and the diarrhea would soon have led to her death. Polka's (the cat) vet had used up all her resources to help so I printed out the list of ingrediants (which is so helpful in making an educated decision to buy) in Plantaeris for her to review to make sure it would not interfere with any of the medications Polka is on for anemia. Sadly we have found out through trial and error that there are many ingrediants used in medicines that are poison to cats while harmless to other animals. I use twice daily (6 drops on wet food). No problem after the first day. The medicinal smell was a bit overpowering at first. Easy to administer. Only thing I don't like is the slight odor on the cat - I think it emits from the skin. Oh well, I will get used to it just like the cat did. Can't thank you enough for this product. Keeping the VET bills down is a positive for ordering this product.

We mix Plantaeris in the morning and evening with Tabby's food. She eats all of her food with out any hesitation. We noticed solid stools in 4 days. I used this for my 10 year old cat who has had diarrhea for ages and nothing I tried worked until
I tried Feline Plantaeris. After 3 weeks of use Sammy my cat seems to be free of diarrhea for the first time in months. I just put 6 drops in his food morning and evening it's easy! Guess it must taste okay because he still eats his food.

I thought it was a bit expensive at first but since it works it is well worth it and seems it will last a long time.

This product worked wonders on two of my cats who suffer from irritable bowel syndrome. They still have bouts with it now and then but much less also all my cats are throwing up much less only an occasional hair ball and that's it no more puking up their food at all. We're ecstatic with the results from Plantaeris! Our cat had almost continuous diarrhea for months. His weight fell from 16 lbs to 7 lbs. We tried several prescription meds including Metronidazole. You haven't lived until you've tried to give a cat something that distasteful. The Plantaeris smells like beef broth, and we have a much easier time giving him the medicine. I have an old cat, close to 17 years old. She has had diarrhea for about 5 years now. The vet told me she has lost control of her bowels and that they probably contain too much scar tissue.

She has to stay in a large paper lined cage these days. During the summer, I keep her outside quite a bit. As long as she has a good mind and is happy, I can accomodate her for this.

I have tried some dietary changes and thyroid treatment in the past, which helped a little. I had hoped the plantaeris would help, but it doesn't seem to have. I have been using it a month now.

It will be handy to keep on hand for a younger cat's diarrhea.

My one year old kitten had been suffering with chronic diarrhea for a good portion of his life. Our vet said it was due to the water, although neither my husband and I nor our five year old cat had similar problems. We filtered our water and went through rounds of antibiotics but nothing worked. After taking Plantaeris for one week, he was showing signs of being his old energetic self again. After three weeks, he is happy and full of life. I've also been giving the Plantaeris to my five year old cat who has a sensitive stomach and sometimes vomited after he ate. He hasn't vomited since and also seems more playful. I put the recommended drops right on their wet food and they gobble it up. This stuff is amazing and I feel better that I'm giving them something that will heal their digestive systems, rather than antibiotics.

starting at 3 months of age my kitten had diarrhea daily for 5 months. after taking her to the vet, and giving her their medicine for 2 weeks with no improvement, i went on line and discoverd feline plantaeris and by the end of the 6th day, her diarrhea stopped. Since she has a auto immune disease, if she goes without for a few days it comes back. since taking it she has developed a beautiful coat, whiskers, and is happy and healthy, and full of energy, unlike before. i would recommend this to anyone and everyone, as it saved my cats life. and i would really miss the charactor she has become.

My 15 year old cat began to have vomiting and constant diarrhea outside of the litter box. His stoll contained blood as well. My cat Bruce has had digestive system problems all of her life - and she is 13 years old! She's had chronic diarrhea and dehydration that our vet cannot figure out. She has always been an ok eater, but never seemed to gain weight. We have tried a lot of different meds with little or no help. She hates medicine, and has always been very hard to dose.
About 6 weeks ago Bruce's condition seemed to be worsening. She had almost completely stopped eating - even though we were trying everything. She walked around crying much of the time. Someone even suggested we try baby food, which we did. She liked it for about 2 days, then refused it, too. I really felt like she was probably going to die.
Three weeks ago I ordered the Plantaeris. I added the drops to her food as recommended. Little by little she began to eat again. I am thrilled to say that today Bruce is a different cat - well, the same cat with a different life! Eating well, gaining weight - and NOT ONE EPISODE OF DIARRHEA! Her engery is back, and so is her appetite. In fact she tries to finish my other cat Charley's food if he turns his back. I got this product for my 16-year-old cat, K.C. She had been having problems with diarrhea for 2-3 weeks. She would frequently have accidents on the carpet. She was lethargic and did not communicate much at all. She barely ate her food. After reading all the reviews I decided to order the Feline Plantaeris in June. At first I tried to give it to her by mouth using the dropper. She was not very happy with me. Then I decided to add the suggested daily dosage of 6 drops to her drinking water instead. She actually drank it. A few times she watched me as I added to her water and drank anyway. After about 2-3 weeks she started feeling better. As time went by she felt better and better. She seemed to look forward to drinking the "doctored" water seeming to understand that it was the reason she felt so good. Now she is perky and more talkative. She runs through the apartment and eats her food. It has made a HUGE difference. When I add it to her water and tell her to drink her medicine she walks right over to the bowl and drinks (I have a SMART cat). I have to say at first I was skeptical but my persistence and patience won out. If you are on the fence about this product I suggest that you try it. Worse case you can use it for yourself since herbs are not species specific. Be patient. Like everything it takes time.

Our 20-pound cat (he has asthma and needs steroid shots overy 3 months- don't judge!) has had runny, foul-smelling stool for months, and we've been through every specialty food, dewormer, etc. in an attempt to improve his situation. Our vet was officially stumped, and we came across Plantaeris and the wonderful reviews it has received.

Upon using it for the first time, it was truly a little miracle. His stool was perfectly normal, and no odor! We were so happy.

But, the product didn't seem to work as well over the next few days, and the stool returned to a mushy state. We had some success in upping the dosage, but even that no longer works.

We were so pleased at first, and want to love Plantaeris, but it hasn't given us a permanent solution. We'll keep using it, combined with gentle foods, and hope for the best.

I recommend Plantaeris with an asterisk for our personal experiences.

We have a 14 year old cat, Nestle, that has suffered with diarrhea for over a year. The vet said "we may never know why she has it". We've tried special food from the vet, wet food, dry food, everything we could think of to get rid of it. After only 3 days on the product it STOPPED. I continue to give it to her in a small amount of wet food, twice daily. She is more active, more alert, more affectionate and HAPPY! We can tell without a doubt she feels better. The only thing "testing" my nerves is using the dropper, I get nervous about the accuracy of the dosage.

My Gabby was an abandoned kitty. No longer wanted, no longer a cute kitten. Her people moved and didn't take her with them. She had the digestive problems from eating whatever she could find. Boots my macho man has had a stinky loose stool, since I got him from the shelter, a couple of years ago. I had his BM analysed 3 times, by different Vets. Antibiotics were not working. Hills I/D, nor IAM's Low residue worked. He is still on IAM's. When I found your product I was surprised to read that other people had the same problem. My friends were tired of me talking about my cats BM.
Since Boots gets your drops mixed in, in some soft food, the terrible stench is gone. Slowly he is down to a couple of BM's a day. Still soft, but that's fine.
My other cat gets a spoon of Pumpkin pie filling for a reversed problem.

It was helpful reading other pet owners reviews in selecting this medication for my cat. It took effect within 24hrs and I had to fight with him about wanting milk but, that was the sign that he was feeling much better. This medication broke his fever and gave him a boost with his immune system.
Suddenly, his eyes were bright as ever, he started to wine (meow) and beg for his favorite treats, he wanted to sat in my lap again and allowed me to clean him up and even though he doesn't like to take the medication, he does trust me and knows it is whats making him feel good again. I like the product because my pride and joy is happy again.

For the past month my 17 year old tabby, CiCi, has had a miserable case of diarrhea, crying and running to the litter box 3-5 times a day. Also, she barely was eating enough to sustain life. Because of her age and the fact that she was diagnosed with kidney disease last year, I was reluctant to try expensive tests and lab work. Therefore, I did research and changed her diet. Nothing helped. Within 3 days of taking Plantaeris, CiCi was back to normal and her frisky devil-cat ways.

Frequent bouts of diarrhea have resulted in weight loss and reduced quality of life for this otherwise purrfect feline.

I have a 12 year old persian cat that has had stomach problems from day one. Over the years the loose stools have become troublesome as they occured all day long. He has been on all sorts of medications that have only temporairly helped. I have removed him from all medications and now give this product to him on a regular basis 2 times a day and it hasn't fully cured the problem but he only gets 1-2 loose stools per day in lieu of 4-5. Sometimes we even get one that looks semi-normal. I would definitely recommend the product for cats as my cat has the worst case and is doing okay.

We use five drops in the morning and five drops in the evening. We place it on the canned food in five tiny portions. Koko eats this first and then follows with his dry food. It is extremely good in stopping diarrhea and smelly stools.

I purchase Plantaeris for one of my cats who has problems with diarrhea. Vet costs were getting way out of line. Plantaeris absolutely stopped the diarrhea in a short period of time. Katie has had chronic diarrhea since she i got her at 6 weeks old. I took her to the vet and he gave her antibiotics and tested her but could not find anything wrong with her. She is 21 years old and her Pancreatic Function is deteriorating - thus, loose stools.

Instead of having several loose stools each day - she only has one. Occasionally - she'll have a normal bowel movement. I'm happy with the results!
