I have a 13 year old Pekingese. He has chronic bronchitis, and advanced arthritis. For years he had difficulty with his bowel movements, usually straining to produce loose, bloody stools often containing mucous. I ordered Plantaeris, started him with 7 drops 2 times a day. Within 5 days his bowel movements became normal for the most part. He has been on Plantaeris twice a day for more than one year, and those bothersome stools are a thing of the past. I do change the amount of drops I give him, depending on how his stool is formed and how many he has in a 24 hour period. Plantaeris works on an emergency basis as well. My Irish Wolfhound has a sensitive stomach and as a result, he has had many bouts of the loose bowels, almost pudding like. The Vet prescribes Pepto Bismol for short bouts and antibiotics for more serious bouts. I have to add probiotics to his food to balance his system. My Aussie developed urgent frequent diarrhea with discomfort (dog whimpered before each episode). I tried conventional veterinary treatments that worked but the diarrhea returned within a week of stopping the treatment. I purchased this product, started at recommended dose and my Aussie had normal stools within 3 doses (whimpering stopped shortly after the 1st dose). Now I give 1/2 the recommended dose and have not had any diarrhea issues. I highly recommend this product.

My older dog had problems caused by medication the vet had prescribed. I was told to give him immodium to stop the problems. It was ongoing because of his medication. Plantaeris actually worked better than the immodium and a dose about every three days seemed to keep things normal. I was surprised and it was a relief after a month of bowel problems.

We have spent around $1200.00 at the vet only to find out after numerous blood tests, fecal samples and worming that they really did not know what was wrong with our dog except he might have food allegies. I have a Miniature Poodle just under 3 years old that has always had very loose and/or runny stools. I didn't know what to do about it. One day I received an email about the Plantaeris product and decided to give it a try. Just before getting it, I gave all of my dogs a food that they reacted badly to and then ALL 3 dogs had diarhea - what a mess! It took longer than a week to start seeing stools with some form but I stuck with it and now they are all doing much better. I'm still giving it to them and most of the time they're giving me firm stools - which I make a big fuss over because it's not something I take for granted after going through that horrible time where I was always washing dirty butts. While this product didn't seem effective in handling my dog's diarrhea, it may be more in part because she was diagnosed with inflamed intestines. Using the drops as directed for over 2 weeks did nothing to improve her diarrhea. However, the friend who recommended the product has had success with the Tripsey.

Our 7 month old malamute puppy had had worsening loose bowels from when she was tiny. The vet gave her antibiotics for it which of course worsened the condition, destroying her natural flora/immune system. We used this along with a strict diet of organic canned pumpkin, boiled organic chicken and organic rice. This did the trick - she had consistantly solid feces for the first time in her short life and has had so in the four monthes since her treatment. (We used two bottles up and then discontinued the treatment. It cost the same as antibiotics from the vets and is much healthier. She is having some trouble again now, so we're ordering it again. This time we'll try it along with her usual diet of dry dog food and see if it works just as well.

This poduct litterally saved my 14 yr.old cat(Tiny's) life. She had diarrhea for 2 months. She went from a 11 lb. cat to a mere 4 1/2 lbs. I almost took her to the vet to have her put to sleep. as a last ditch effort I searched on the internet and found this product. Within 2 days of giving it to her the diarrhea stopped. I also started feeding her boiled chicken thigh meat almost exclusively. I am happy to say Tiny is up to almost 7 pounds now and has a kitten-like quality to her once again.

It definitely works! Our dog has gall bladder and liver issues which can result in frequent changes of his diet...thus we always need to be prepared for intestinal problems. We have been using this product for about a month and as soon as we see any signs of a soft stool, a shot or two of Plantaeris does the trick before it progresses into full blown diarrhea. It's gentle enough to use every day or only when problems arise. Give it a try...your dog will love you for it.

I have a 2 year old 90 lb. Doberman Pincher that all of the sudden started to have some really bad diarrhea. I came home from work one evening and there were 7 huge pile of diarrhea in the living room carpet. Took over 1 hour to clean.

When I mean bad the neighborhood kids would laugh and say watch "Diesel" do the diarrhea cannon. It would shoot out his butt about 8 inches in a stream. He was drinking water as normal and playing just as he always did. No worms in his stool and he did not eat anything weird. I feed him Wellness and this is the only food he will eat. Its expensive but worth it.

Anyway I tried all kinds of remedis like rice, pepto bismol etc., which all helped some to slow it down. I came across your site and thought I would give the Plantaeris for dogs a try.

I purchased my puppy from a very reputable breeder in October of last year. When I first got him he had a relatively bad giardia infection. He constantly had diarrhea, gas and sometimes vomited. Chloe-Beth was having problem with diarrhea and vomiting. I ordered a bottle of Plantaeris from, Petwellbeing.com. I started giving her the recommended dosage to Her the same day I received the medication.

I was having a terrible time with my dog's colitis. She was vomiting and passing blood. She'd be better for a few days & then have a lot of trouble again. The best thing I got from the vet were little herbal pills but I had to wrap 7 of them in her canned dog food 2x a day which I found disgusting. Trying to understand how to better help her I looked up Canine colic on-line and an ad for Canine Plantaeris came up. I thought it was too expensive, not knowing whether it would work. The next day I decided to try it and am I ever glad I did! It requires such a small dose and is easy to apply to her food. It's very effective. She's had almost no trouble since I started her on it. It's easy to squirt a dose in her mouth if she chooses not to eat her food. I haven't noticed any side effects and her stool has remained firm, no more blood or mucus. There are no cons I can say about it. Since she's only 8 lbs the small dose needed makes it very cost effective to use. My dog had diarrhea for several days, we took him to the vet and they said he was fine but put him on an antibotic anyway. At the end of the antibotic cycle he was a lot better but his stools were still not normal (more like pudding). I started him on this and now he is back to normal. He is a 100 pound dog but I have cut the dosage back to about 1/4 what is recommended and he is still fine. I put it in his food or water he has not turned down either so I assume the taste is not bad.

I have raised poodles for many years and this was my last breeding and I wanted to keep the two females to go with my two older ones. One of the girls, has a very sensative stomach and has had dierrea from birth. I have doctored and tried many differant things and nothing has worked but this. I do have to give her on the dropper about 1/4th from the 0.5 and you say to give one drop for every 2 pounds. It may work for some but my little girl is 4lbs. and just turned two and she needs more so people should adjust to what works for your puppy. I can't believe it will hurt her as it is all natural. I administer it daily. My dog has had problems with worms and diarhea. He is also 13 and appears to have intestinal discomfort at times. He seemed unable "settle", getting up and down every few seconds at times trying to get into a comfortable position. I just recently purchased this product after trying many other products. I have a Border Collie and a Bichon and both at times suffer from stress related bowel problems, which is not only a problem for me but very uncomfortable for them. I recently decided that although it is very natural for a new canine mom to have very loose stools, I was really getting frustrated with the clean up.

Healthy but as seasons change from spring to winter or vice versa he'll get a bout of diarrhea which will last about a week.

The product was put into a diet of chicken and dry cottage cheese and the product assisted in getting him back to his normal self about a week and a 1/2 later.
