I have a 12 year old Rottweiler that starting having symptoms about a year ago. I have not had him diagnosed by a vet. He's too old to be put thru so many tests and harsh drugs. I have a 12 yr old MIN PIN named Lexxe. she has basically every sympton of CUSHINGS she could have except for the fur and skin problems.

Most problematic for her was the excessive drinking/urination as well as the weak joints...apathy...bloated belly and panting..

Since taking SUPRAGLAN (for one month) her water consumption has decreased to a normal level. where she once required at least 10 daily walks to urinate as well as using a piddle pad 4 to 6 times daily she now requires 4 to 5 daily daily walks and only needs the piddle pad a couple times weekly.

Her walks (due to weak joints) would last only for a few minutes to take care of business. now she likes to walk and sniff up to 30 minutes and has begun to notice and interact with people..other animals and even tries to chase squirrels.

My nine year-old yellow lab, Daisy, was diagnosed with Cushing Disease almost a year ago. The vet determined Daisy developed a tumor in her pitutary gland and recommended trilostane. Daisy didn't do well on the drug and suffered from lethargy, loss of appetite, etc. After much searching I found Supraglan as an alternative medicine. Last April my dear companion (10 years old) was diagnosed with Cushing's Disease. His vet prescribed a daily dose of 60 mg. of Trilostane. My 9 year old Silky Terrier was doing poorly on the Vet prescribed medicine for Cushings disease.
I started to research the medicine she was given from the Vet and realized the cure might be as bad as the disease. Our mini wirehair dachshund developed an autoimmune disorder (sterile nodular panniculitis)and in spite of trying all sorts of other treatments, she has only responded to Prednisone. She has been on it so long that she has developed Cushings and because she can't go off the medication without having a relapse, she is stuck. My 10 1/2 year old Lhasa Apso Macy was diagnosed with Cushings about 1 1/2 years ago. She has been taking the Anipryl and has had some good results. I had been giving her the generic (Selegine) and seemed to have little or no side effects. Then the FDA took the generic off the market and I had to go to the Name Brand. The first month or so, I saw no change, but then I started to notice that she was fidgiting and panting heavily and just could not get comfortable. Chante my Shi-Tzu X has had cushings for 4 years. She has been on trilostane for 2 of those. I have read such good reviews about Supra Glan, that I figured I'd give it a try, also. A few things I have noticed since she has been taking it, is she has way more energy, the sores that she was getting, have gone away and her hair has grown in more evenly. Well, it has been 2 weeks since I started Oliver on Supraglan, today, I have noticed a much more active, less moping welsh terrier. As a puppy and really up until 12 years, his skin allergies were treated early on with prednisone. Since, we know what that does to his adrenal glands, we did not use this at all since 2000. Our dog was diagnosed with Cushings about 6 months ago. Our vet started her on Trilostane at 5 ml twice daily. It was very hard on her. It zapped all of her energy. She could hardly get around. He then cut the rate in half. She does much better with that amount. He said it would be about 6 months before her hair would start to grow back in place. One year ago our mini Dacshund, Monty, was diagnosed with Cushings Disease. Our vet had a grim outlook and medications offered were expensive and had harsh side effects.Barely a week later he was literally at death's door with acute Pancreatitis. I want to tell you that this product actually did work! My dog's hair grew back, he felt really good and when I quit using it his symptoms came back. We were told this spring that our smaller, older dog had Cushing's disease. To treat her at the vet would have been very expensive. Lucky is a 12 year old shepherd/lab mix. He was a VERY active dog, running with me daily, and also with the horses. He slowed down in the last year, which really didn't concern us, as he was getting older, but when he started eating everything in sight and stealing food, we knew something else was going on. After a visit to the vet, and cushings as the tentative diagnosis, we tried Supraglan. So far, after 2 weeks, he isn't as thirsty, still eating a lot, but moving around more. I have an 86 pound Rotti so I have to fill the syringe and she stands there and lets me squirt it on her tongue and just eats it up. She seems to like the taste. I have not been back to the vet yet for another blood sample to check her liver enzymes so I don't know if it is helping that but she seems more like her old self and doesn't get lame as much. I have not noticed any difference in the shedding of her hair. Our carpet is light beige and we have to sweep almost every day. The only problem I am having is with the syringe. I have a hard time filling it. I will definitely get more when this runs out. She is almost 8 and I'd like to have her around for a little longer.

My 12-yr-old yellow lab was diagnosed with Cushing's a few months ago. Despite giving her glucosamine & dog aspirin daily, she still had trouble getting up, was panting a lot & drank a lot of water. She was getting to be so unsteady on her feet that she was no longer able to make it through the doggy door without falling down. We didn't want to put her through the possible side effects of the drug the vet suggested, plus the cost was a bit prohibitive and there were no guarantees. We tried another natural remedy but didn't see any results. After using Supraglan for only a week, we saw a marked improvement. It's been almost 3 weeks now and she has more energy and is once again able to walk right through the doggy door without even faltering. It's amazing. Our 10 year old sheltie has had Cushing's Disease for 3 years. We gave him a chemo drug once a week, then 3 times per week and had his blood checked twice a year. After several checks a month ago, the determination was made by our vet that his disease had progressed to the point with high blood numbers that there were no other treatment options. Unhappy with this prognosis, I researched Cushings in dogs online and found Supraglan. I give him 1 eyedropper full twice a day with his food. He eats fine and is doing well. I've been giving my 10 and half year old Dachshund Supraglan for a little over a month now. It appears that his excessive drinking and urination has subsided somewhat, and his vision has improved somewhat. His coat is still pretty bad. I don't see any improvement there at all. I have a 96 lb. 10 year old smooth collie male who had some of the symptoms of Cushings (drinking massive amounts of water, panting, frequent urination) but not diagnosed by my vet. He also began having arthritis issues in his hind legs. I decided to give Supraglan a try as I was already spending a lot on medications. I began to see results in about three days. I love this product. When my dog was diagnosed with Cushing's I could not stand the thought of giving him a "toxic" medicine. I found Supraglan and decided to try it and I am so glad I did. I give Jake the medicine twice a day. In just 3 days I could already tell a huge improvement. His energy level was amazing. He loves to play ball and now he can run and jump after the ball again - while before he didn't have the energy. He had a "hot spot" on his front paw for about a year that I could not get rid of. The first 2-3 weeks there was no sigh that the supraglan worked - and I had to keep my dog on her other medicine, which I was not happy about - too many side effects. Then, slowly, my 14 y.o. dalmatian started to feel better, to walk better,to go to the bathroom regularly and less times, to look better and to play again.
And 2 more weeks later I took her off the medicine prescribed by her doctor, and she has been on supraglan for the past 6 weeks now, and, knock on wood, she feels the way she used to feel a couple of years ago - the clock turned back 2 years, which makes me believe that she can have 2 more years with us. In conclusion, yes, supraglan works if you are patient and keep giving it to your pet regularly, until it fully enters your pet's system. Good Job, Canadians!

I am giving this to my dogs which are both over 10 years old. One has liver disease and the other has cushings. They are both responding great to the supragland. They get it in their morning meal and the digestive disturbances have been completely eliminated, no digestive problems and they are much more active and pain free since they have been put on it. I have taken them off of the other chemical medications they were put on by their vet. and I hope to keep them on the supragland as the other medications were getting to be more expensive then my budget could handle. thanks

We have a 11 yr old Lhasa Apso diagnosed last summer 2008, with Cushings Disease. The side effects of traditional Vet treatment seemed too harse and would cause more harm than good. I wanted her quality of life to be maintained with minimal disturbance. There has been noticible improvement since taking Supraglan. She is a happier girl, with less fat deposits than before, her coat is shiny, and eyes are bright. I know she won't be around forever, but at least she will be comfortable. My dog was diagnosed 1 1/2 years ago with Cushings Disease but had it longer. The vet put her on Lysodren as well as high doses of levothyroxin for her thyroid as well as mega doses of antibiotics for her skin condition. I am a physician who also believes in alternative medicine. I start her on home cooked "wholesome" meals and wholesome supplements. Some improvement was noted. However, over a week ago she took a turn for the worse. Didn't think she was going to make it. I researched and found Supraglan. She has been on it for 4 days and amazing results. There is a decrease in the panting, decrease in the swelling of the belly and the skin on the belly is becoming lighter to a more normal color. She has more energy as well. She ruptured all the cruciate ligaments in both knees and today she walked over 3/4 of a mile painfree which hasn't been done for a long time. I have been using this product for 3 weeks on my 9 year old Keeshond, she is an insulin diabetic and has been suffering from hair loss, skin ailments, bladder infections and so on for over a year. After using this product on a non diagnosed Cushinoid dog... The vets said "homeopathic medicine just doesn't work", I have noticed subtle but very promising results from using Supraglan. More active and alert, decreased water intake, more controlled toilet times skin lesions are clearing up and at the moment her coat is so much softer with improved skin color and texture. As said before my girl has had several non conclusive Cushing tests, however this product ( In my case seems safe and effective). I just follow the dosage amounts, my dog has had no problems in eating meals with this product in it, whether it be dry or wet food. Will keep you posted.

We faithfully give our dog the Supraglan twice a day. It has made a remarkable difference. We thought that we were seeing what we wanted to see at first, but after several weeks on the product, there is no doubt that it is very effective. I purchased this product after researching the horrible side effects of conventional treatment for Cushing's disease. I wanted a more natural and gentle option. My dog has been on the supplement for 3 months. Within 6 weeks, he regained some energy and was more alert and active. This product really helped our 10 year old german sheperd who was diagnosed with cushing disease. It reduced his symtoms by 75% . His thirst calmed down completely and his urinating in the home went from 15 times a day to 2. He sleeps at night now and so do we. The only problem I had was he got diarrhea so I backed the dose down to half of the suggested amount and I make him rice and mix that in his food and he has not had any more diarrhea.I am greatful for this he has other issues and anymore medication was just too much for him.

I add the drops in an 1/8 cup of ckn. broth, mixed with regular dog food.

My dog Honey is ten years old, a lab/husky mix and after watching her loose 70% of her coat and have allergy hotspots from grass and chicken. We finally went through multiple testings and found out Honey has PDH cushings. We started use of this product Christmas day, at first she didn't like it added to her food so I had to give it separately - within in week she showed an energy level increase, within two weeks I noticed hair regrowth starting. Within 5 weeks I went from vacuuming every day to once a week. Now it has been nearly 2 months and honey has her full coat and has been restored to her normal energy level. Our vet is very impressed and will be documenting Honey's progress. I recommended this product to my Dad who has Honey's brother with similar problems.

Oh the most surprising thing is Honey had calouses on her elbows, they are all but gone.

As everyone is skeptical - this has worked wonders. My Cocker Spaniel Dakota also has Chron's Disease and with his daily medication and prescription food along with Supraglan - he has been in remission for months. My dog was given 2 yrs to live due to cushing disease. The vet wanted hundreds of dollars to give meds to kill off her adernal gland. Was diagnosed with Cushings about 2 years ago and has been taking Trylostane.

I am so pleased with Supraglan. Our dog Allie did not have much energy when on her other medication and slept most of the time. Now she greets us at the door again and dances around like before. She is awake most of the day and her little sores she would get on her ears don't last near as long. I don't know if her other medication would have helped extend her life but I know the QUALITY of her life has been so much better since taking Supraglan.

The loss of bladder control was the worst for us. and the getting up every 3-4 hours to let her out to try to avoid the bladder spills.

I can tell you this muffin was in extremely bad shape when I tried your product. I had him months longer than I probably would have. your product supraglan allowed him to walk again and play and he led a happy life until the last 2 days of his. Approximately 2 years ago my 9 year old Beagle Trixie was diagnosed with cushings disease. After speaking with owners of others with the disease I felt nothing but the worst was in our future.
